In any case, Park and Pray reminds us that you can park for free at metered spaces on Saturdays in Boston between Nov. 29 and Dec. 27 - but only for two hours at a time. Or you can shop in one of the many fine business districts outside Boston Proper where the parking is always free (oh, no, I'm starting to sound like Rhode Island Treasurer Frank Caprio!).

The BTD officials (or whoever higher that decreed this) should be hit over the head with copies of The High Cost of Free Parking until they stop this nonsense.
