We are nothing if not presumptuous.
We are nothing if not presumptuous. Remember, this is the city that started using words like "dynasty" when the Patriots won their second Super Bowl.

No surprise there
What a stupid article, especially considering the knee-jerk reactions of the armchair analysts that infect Boston.com article comments.
Globe article comments make me weep.
Maybe they're trolling for new owners?
The cynic in me says that the Globe wanted to put a reminder on its front page that any prospective new owner can pick up a piece of the Red Sox franchise for a bargain basement price -- slow start be damned!
