Ron Newman reports a chatty customer service agent told him some stations will start going unstaffed after either 7 or 10 p.m., starting this Saturday.

As a busker, albeit one who doesn't work late, that just doesn't seem safe to me. My cell phone doesn't work at most underground stations, so if anything happened, I wouldn't be able to summon help easily.

Good to know, though.
