Boston Police report officers found two men shot in a gray Toyota Corolla at Columbia Road and Hancock Street around 6:30 p.m., Saturday.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was taken to Boston Medical Center in critical condition, police say.

Friends identify the dead man as Thaddeus "Mighty" Clark.

A man shot at Dudley and Humphreys streets in Uphams Corner shortly before 9 p.m. was driven to Boston Medical Center and then left there. The man's injuries were serious enough to have the homicide unit called in.

Police are looking for a blue, 2002 Mazda Protege, Mass. reg. 917 MN3.

The owner of Camilo Liquors II, 735 Dudley St., had to explain to the Boston Licensing Board today why he was violating the terms of his license by continuing to sell liquor past his legal 11 p.m. closing time on May 29 - a police citation said an officer saw a clerk selling liquor to one person, with four or five additional people lined up at the counter at 11:03 p.m.

But Francisco Camilo said the clock inside his store read 10:58 p.m. - and his phone said it was 10:59 - so he felt he wasn't doing anything wrong. He added he already had two of the store's three front metal grates down.

ProjectV, which brought several hundred people to Wendover Street for a daylong party, ended about 90 minutes early when pretty much every officer in District B-2, accompanied by reinforcements from across the city, arrived. Stanley Staco, monitoring the police activity on radio, reported the party broke up without incident.

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today found Emmanuel Pina and Sandro Tavares guilty of first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of a man with whom they'd had a beef and an innocent cook gunned down by an errant bullet at the now closed Ka-Carlos Bar and Grill in 2009, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

The verdict means mandatory sentences of life without possibility of parole. The two were also found guilty of shooting a third man, who survived.

Boston Police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery around 1:15 p.m. at the Sovereign Bank branch at 585 Columbia Rd.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'5" to 5'7", weighing 200 to 220 lbs., with a beard and sunglasses. He left the bank in gray sweatpants, but took those off and was last spotted running in bluejeans.

The branch was also held up last October.

Leonard Young, 33, of Mattapan, was ordered held in lieu of $250,000 bail at his arraignment in Dorchester District Court on chages of armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and various weapons charges, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, which adds the victim, at first appearing near death, is now expected to recover.
