The Beacon Hill Times reports the opening of Music Research Library, which sells mainly vinyl records, on Joy Street this month. It moved up here from Providence.

Angry guy gets $5 from man in Downtown Crossing, but that wasn't enough, so he tried to attack him, then chased him up to Beacon Hill, police say

Boston Police report arresting a guy they say got $5 from a man walking through Downtown Crossing early this morning and when the man refused to give him more, tried to punch him and then chased after him - continuing to try to slug him when he got close enough - until they wound up at Beacon and Joy streets, where the victim spotted a couple of officers and flagged them down.
