Huge barbecue place proposed for Blue Hill Avenue at Talbot

Boston Restaurant Talk reports the Boston Licensing Board next week considers a request for a food and liquor license for a 5,000-square-foot barbecue joint at 881 Blue Hill Ave.

Boris Sapozhnikov's Daisy Duke's BBQ Pit and Royal would have 4,600 square feet of indoor space on two floors and an outdoor patio of about 400 square feet, according to his filing with the board.

The board's hearings begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Room 809 in City Hall.

An expanded Pitstop BBQ is the only thing that can compete with Pitstop BBQ

The pit is hardly competition for a bbq place. Before the assumption, I’m black, lived in Boston my whole life. It’s ok.

I go for the food and the look on the faces of the brave hipsters that venture out there so they can tell their friends about it.

When I hear "Boris Sapozhnikov" the first thing that comes to mind is down home barbecue.

A BBQ joint named after the female character on a show that prominently and proudly named the car on it the "General Lee" and was adorned by the Confederate flag on Blue Hill fucking Ave..

Can;t wait for the fawning articles featuring well heeled hipsters taking Uber's to this joint in Boston Magazine and Boston.Com written by people who live in Philly.

Thanks a lot!

2 minutes to noon, nice healthy economical home-packed brown bag lunch in the office fridge, and you've got me wanting to do a search-and-devour mission to M&M's truck!

Unless the owner or a family member is running the show, its never as good.

BBQ is a passion. Its not something you teach for minimum wage.
