By adamg on Wed, 03/18/2020 - 11:44am
Transit Police report arresting Mozamel Abdul-Rahman, 32, for what they say was an unprovoked attack on an 84-year-old man on a Red Line platform at Park Street on Saturday.
Abdul-Rahman was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon - a shod foot - for the attack, in which he and another man allegedly knocked down the man, kicked him while he was down and spit on him.
Innocent, etc.

I feel bad for the 84 yr old
I feel bad for the 84 yr old guy just trying to get somewhere on the T and a a young man beats him for no reason. Why would a man do that to an elderly person? I usually assume high on drugs...
This makes my stomach turn
How can people treat an old man like that?
unless he called you the N word
There really isn't an excuse for that nonsense.
Really?
Calling someone a bad name, however odious and with whatever social baggage, is an excusable reason enough for a violent physical attack, according to you? I don't agree.
In truth..
We have a 73yo Prez calling COVID19 the Chinese Virus, like, who wouldn't want to slug him?
Not that I am suggesting..
This elder did anything like that to incite this attack...

Please cite your source for implying the 84yr. old who was physically assaulted called the man who beat him the N word. That's a serious allegation and it's also victim blaming.
