Once again, out-of-town punks descend on Boston to cause trouble

NorthEndWaterfront.com reports on a North End community meeting that focused on both the most recent sexual attack and a series of incidents during the recent St. Anthony's Feast in which festival-goers found themselves under attack:

In an organized series of attacks, out-of-town teens set up feast visitors to be punched and shoved last Friday night at the St. Anthony's Feast. Boston Police believe the kids communicated by texting each other, identifying victims indiscriminately and then hitting them for no other reason than the thrill of assaulting random people. Observers witnessed punching, shoving and pushing in several locations on Endicott Street.

Officers identified suspects from Revere, Everett and Charlestown. Victims of the punches and fights choose not to pursue charges.

Out-of-towners were also blamed for much of the problems at the Mac Miller concert at City Hall Plaza.

Memo to newcomers: There are no $250 apartments in the South End

John Ford, who runs an eponymous real-estate company, explains why he's thinking of telling his brokers to stop posting ads on Craigslist - in part because of the call he got from somebody who wondered about an ad she'd seen on Craigslist for an apartment in the South End for just $250 a month:

I have a question: If I were to place an ad in the Boston Globe for a $250 studio apartment which didn't exist, would the Boston Globe and I be sued? I think so. Perhaps I'm slow, but why is it legal to post false ads on Craigslist? How many fake ads do you think are on the Boston apartments section of Craigslist? One, two, ten - perhaps all of them?

'Scantily clad women were frequently seen rushing out the front door demanding payment from fleeing men'

The Globe reports on a suspected house of ill repute on Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Roxbury, which seems an appropriate name, if nowhere near as good as what they called Beacon Hill's old red-light district.

NESN keeps it classy

If you're not a Sox fan, you missed this commercial during last night's game. At least it was a break from the millionth repetition of those SouthWest People's Court ads and gazillionth airing of the Coors commercials that alternate between idiots getting angry with beer bottles and idiots showing how much they'd rather do anything than spend time with their girlfriends:
