Poor trolley
When I first read the post, "indecent assault and battery on a trolley," all I could think about was the poor trolley that already has to deal with so much every day.

Follow-up Statistics?
Adam:
Are there any readily available stats showing the conviction rate of alleged gropers, etc., on the T?

stats
Agree it would be interesting to see stats of convictions.
Reading this story (I admit I only skimmed), she said he groped. If that's the only evidence against him, I would be surprised if a jury convicted him.
If I were a juror, I think I'd need a confession, a history of similar crimes/acusations, witnesses, or some other corroboration to get to 'beyond a shadow of a doubt".
What would also be interesting
If they had any evidence that these arrests were reducing the prevalence of groping on the T, because people know how and where to speak out against it.
