Minivan flips, man trapped
By adamg on Wed, 10/22/2014 - 7:35am
A minivan rolled down an inclined driveway on Englewood Avenue in Brighton this morning, flipping on its side on the street and trapping its driver inside, the Boston Fire Department reports.
The department says firefighters arrived around 6:15 a.m. to find the man trapped, his leg outside the minivan. Firefighters were able to extricate him with the help of Jaws of Life and hand him over to EMS for evaluation and transport to a local hospital.

Really?
Why doesn't he just go out that big open door in the back?
Quick! Someone tell him he has a way out!

Because one of his legs is outside the van.

OH
Then that leg should have hopped away and got help.
Is this really ....

I'm with you. Darwin would laugh at this.
Street View of driveway?
I want to see a wide angle shot of this driveway. It seems like it must be pretty steep for a van to roll over on its side. I've gone a few blocks up and down Englewood in Street View but can't match what I see in the photos. Anyone have better luck than me? Or know exactly where it happened?

says units responded to "opposite 65 Englewood Ave in Brighton". The driveways on the north side of that street are inclined, tho' not steep.
