Didn't happen in Roxbury...
he's not black, no gun was involved, not considered gang related...ok, I get why no one has commented.
Not much to comment about...
... until we know more. Googling didn't turn up any other info on the guy who was arrested (not that I could find).
Par for the Course
People like him have been coming into that area for nightclubs and ball games for decades and causing trouble in the area. The suburban shitheads who attacked a house mate of mine years ago said that they came to the city to do crimes.
Because "the city" is where "crime" is, after all. Ugh. Other times, it was property crimes they wouldn't try at home. Getting smacked with a bit more than a cleanup fee seems to have deterred some of the tagging, at least.
Will Fenway Park have another license hearing? Not that this had anything to do with them, of course.
This one also sounds like it was kind of personal or a stalker, since how would he know a woman would be in a particular apartment otherwise?
There's no information
but feel free to wildly speculate. Or just wait for the facts.
Really?
Really? Because all city dwellers are angels? I don't think I need to point out all the city boy meatheads that end up in the police blotter.
Whoosh
Did I say all are shitheads? Nope.
I SAID THAT THE PEOPLE WHO ATTACKED MY HOUSEMATE WERE SHITHEADS.
There. All caps - does that help your reading comprehension?
Whoosh back at you
Did I say you said they were all shitheads? Nope, not even close.
Why use the "suburban" adjective at all? Don't bother answering because I know exactly why.
Did you miss another part of this
The brat who ratted out the other brats specifically said, in court, that they went into the city to be city criminals. Because city = crime Disneyland.
Yes. Suburban shitheads, coming into the city, attacking people. These gems were considerably worse than the suburban shitheads who would drive into the city with a trunk full of booze and park outside of homes and pregame and play loud music and swear at people who asked them to quiet down because they had to go to work the next morning.
Yes, suburban, like the little graffiti artists from Weston and Dover who would take the train in and then whine when judges actually jailed them.
Chill out
No need to get hostile.
Are you serious?
Pretty much every other day Adam posts about black on black shootings in Boston and they generally receive 0-3 comments.
Good to see
this scumbag caught. So sick of men preying on women.
FYI
This guy was pretty much homeless and lived off and on in Homless shelters in Boston. I guess he is from Westwood and his parents live there. He is not the typical suburban "let's go to the club and find women" type of person. He is the sick in the head stalker type person (who is originally from Westwood)
More reasons that the state should pay for services
The urban areas are magnets for people whose last known addresses are well outside of them. Not just Boston, but Springfield, Worcester, Gloucester, etc. The cities can't keep pace with it out of their own tax revenues alone.
In cities, homeless get better public transit service
and more services. If they were put out in the suburbs, services would be spread out too far around with little to no way for them to get to them. Its not like they can afford to own and operate cars, nor should they while drunk, on drugs, or with certain disabilities.
Well, Duh, markk
I didn't say that there weren't good reasons for these migrations.
I'm saying that cities shouldn't shoulder the burdens of the entire state alone.
That also goes for providing low-income housing, which makes more sense where people don't need to own cars, too.
Spend some time in NY state
Metro NYC is Democrat. The rest of the state is very Republican. Much of the reason is that the rest of the state suffers high taxes paying for social and other services being delivered in NYC and they see little for their money in the way of roads and other public spending.
Upstaters hate NYC city for being a leach on the state. Kinda how the MBTA is viewed every time residents in much of central and western Mass pay state sales tax, income tax, vehicle inspection fees, registration/renewal fees, and license/renewal fees.
