TJ is incredible. What other ball park plays Dance Yourself Clean or Brass Bonanza after runs are scored?
Every other ballpark plays "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand when the opposing manager goes out to talk to the pitcher. They play the Jeopardy theme while waiting for a umpire to talk to New York about reversing a call. Wow. I am thrilled.
The day Prince died he played all Prince songs between innings. He then cranked LCD Soundsystem and The Jam for an hour and half after the game while kids ran the bases. No one else can get away with that.
Be smart Red Sox. The culture at Fenway is fast becoming as bland as a 495 belt mall. The team has the soul of nothing currently. Don't make it worse.
at Fenway in normal years, I can't say enough about how TJ upgraded the quality of the experience there with his awesome music choices. Never thought I'd hear punk rock at the ballpark, and that was just one small aspect of his cleverness.
He upgraded the Gillette Patriots experience, too, and spun great sets at a thousand restaurant-industry events over the years.
(We actually got to be friends over the fact that his ramblings around Boston nightlife often matched mine based on our social media postings, and so people often accused him of being the undercover restaurant critic.)
I'll never forget the baseball game that was interrupted by an injured bird that hopped around the perimeter of the park, eventually making it onto the infield and second base, stopping play. TJ whipped out The Beatles "Blackbird", to which the whole park listened nearly silently, rapt. One of my favorite moments at Fenway ever.
Break a leg with the next venture, TJ! You're the best I ever heard.

Your Favorite Pub Closed. It Will Be Replaced And Grow On You.
Your favorite DJ leaves Fenway. This stinks.

How original.
Aw, who hurt you?
For a baseball stadium? Yes, original.
As a longtime Sox fan who gets to 20 or so games a year
