A weary citizen in Maverick Square sighs:

I know our vote on the casino didn't matter but I thought the election for mayor was settled? Can we get these taken down?

Ed. note: Over the past few weeks, Citizens Connect has gotten a scattering of complaints about another candidate with green signs, but the city always marks the cases closed because the signs are on private property.

Tina Kelly reports that kindergarteners at one East Boston school were asked to draw "what you want Boston to have more of." And one girl drew "Not playgrounds, trash cans." So, yeah, maybe East Boston has a trash problem.

Brian D'Amico reports that around 10:20 p.m. at 118 Brooks St. and again about an hour later on Curtis Street, somebody inside a green Accord fired paintballs out the window.

In between, there was a third drive-by paintballing on Curtis Street.

D'Amico reports there were similar incidents in Chelsea around the same time as well.

Commercial jets arriving at Logan don't usually get greeted by three helicopters and a smaller plane flying a banner, but Logan allowed an exception for the first Emirates Airline flight into Boston this afternoon.

That's the airline that redecorated the inside of Red Line trains in red.

Jeffrey Cooper, an East Boston teen with a love of trains, disappeared yesterday afternoon and is still missing this morning, despite wearing a LoJack bracelet designed to alert police to his presence.

LoJack tweeted at 9:30:

Boston Police report three women were jumped and sexually assaulted over a span of four hours - one at knifepoint.

Police say two attacks occurred on Trenton Street and the third on Chelsea Street; they did not give more specific locations.
