When a planned power outage just never ends
By adamg on Mon, 09/30/2019 - 5:24pm
John Godfrey reports he and other Forest Hills residents are struggling to understand how a planned Neversource repair outage that was supposed to end by morning, then by 6 p.m.. is now scheduled to end at midnight - 21 hours after it started.
City Councilor Matt O'Malley (Jamaica Plain/West Roxbury) says he shares residents' "frustration with the lack of communication throughout the day," but says that long term, the work will mean fewer problems in the future.

Well let's see
We have a mayor who creams over building multiple structures on every other corner. There are 50 to 150 new residents in multiple sections of the city no new parking and no new power sources. Hey that's the way Marty cluster f_ck the city!
Until We Look Like Manhattan We Are Not Dense Enough
Technically the Eversource network should be capable of handling double the load, unless they are wasting all the money I pay them to give executives ludicrous salaries or something.
Sun Block
Matt O’Malley responded by hanging out Sun Block.

Always write "pay to the order of" Eversore, always cashed
There's been issues
There's been issues for months in Forest Hills with Eversource. Whatever they're doing isn't working for the "long term" fix they keep talking about.
The only good thing about it
The only good thing about it is it pulled the plug on really loud music playing at 12:45 am. haaaa
Is that a typo?
Did you mean to type "Neversource" or is it a typo? I can deal with the petulance in the comments section, but I thought you were above that. Eversource is an eternal nuisance and was totally the bad actor here, but grow up. Are you going to start using tRump on these pages? This is Facebook comments behavior. I come here for a more measured and detailed local reporting.
Yes, I did that on purpose
Yes, in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have written that, and will avoid it in the future.
Yes, I will leave it up - people were pretty pissed about the situation.
