With new wheels comes great responsibility, or something: Newmarket Square institution Boston Speed Dog reports it rolls out a new truck tomorrow - along with a new side of Grillo's Pickles - and that by the end of the month it will change its name to Boston Super Dog.

Boston Police are looking for a heavyset white guy in his 50s with white hair, a white beard and a red T-shirt for a holdup at the Mass. Ave. Market, 962 Mass. Ave. this afternoon. He may have made good his escape in a cab spotted heading toward Melnea Cass Blvd.

The 4:25 train to Newburyport stopped in Chelsea when smoke began rising into the passenger compartments and the train crew evacuated passengers. "This doesn't look good for getting home on time," Liz Polay-Wettengel tweeted - from the train, just before it was evacuated.
Now word comes that a T bus and a car have smashed together, also in Chelsea.
District C-6 reports a woman walking from Victoria's Diner to a nearby Citizens Bank to make a deposit Monday afternoon was held up by a man in a black face mask who told her "I have a gun. Let's go for a walk."
The suspect is described as a black Hispanic male, 5'11" to 6', who also wore a black jacket and dark pants. After taking the woman's red tote bag with the cash around 4 p.m., he ran down Mass. Ave. toward Columbia Road, police said.
UPDATE: The MBTA says a homeless man from Revere who'd been causing a ruckus on the trip fell out of the train as it started leaving the station. His arm was injured; passenger applied tourniquet and he was taken to Mass. General for treatment. Transit Police report.
A man who may have gotten impatient at how slowly his 8:30 p.m. Rockport train was getting into Lynn's Central Square jumped from the first car last night.
