Six-vehicle crash involving jail prisoners in a van on the Expressway

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., State Police reported:

Troopers on scene , multi-vehicle crash, ramp from Rt 93 SB to Mass. Ave. One vehicle involved is Sheriff Dept transport van. Sheriff Dept. enroute to transport prisoners from the crash scene. Ramp closed at this time. EMS also on scene.
