Rare chance to see me in public
By adamg on Thu, 09/10/2009 - 3:44pm
I'm emerging from the blogcave up in the mountain fastnesses next Wednesday, to participate in a panel discussion at the Vilna Shul: Are Blogs and Twitter Improving the Dissemination of Information and News?
Dan Kennedy moderates the discussion with Globe innovation columnist Scott Kirsner, Mass. High Tech Editor Doug Banks, HubSpot CTO Dharmesh Shah, and, well, me. Click the link for more details and to register.

Congrats Adam
Congratulations Adam. Too bad no one could be there to live-blog the event. ;-)

Navel gazing?
Let me guess ... the responses from the panel will be "Yes"?
Yeah, does seem kind of stacked
Maybe Alex Beam's first-generation Prius is in the shop and he couldn't make it.
A better title...
"How Blogs and Twitter Improving the Dissemination of Information and News"
They certainly work for me! :-)
Or...duh
"How Blogs and Twitter are Improving the Dissemination of Information and News"
Thank goodness this blog lets me leave a comment correcting my earlier typo/grammatical error! :-)
Emerging from the Blogcave?
Do you have a superhero toolbelt like that other caped crusader that dwells in a cave and will you have it with you at the discussion?
PS - Do you have a butler named Alfred and are you secretly a multimillionaire that really lives in Louisburg Square?
More like the Tick
With my trusty sidekick, Arthur.
Arthur and the tick????????
Thank god for Wikipedia!
best thing about The Tick...
... is Speak, the pet Capybara!
Pet Capybara!?
Where do you get those? My wife LOVES capybara's - AKA the world's largest rodent (not to be confused with the world's largest rat just found in a volcano crater in New Guinea - which I think is a street name in Allston) - I think I'll try Amazon and see if I can get free shipping if ordered with one of those red mixers Eeka told me about.
I'll let you know if I come across anything on Amazon
...that might help you out.
Be sure to check their recommendations. Sometimes they give you some amazingly accurate predictions, you know, things like "people who shopped for mixers also bought capybaras."

thanks
nothing makes me chuckle like a rodent in a blender - reminds me of the rat version of bassomatic!
*for the record I'm a big animal lover - but I live behind a restaurant - us humans are complex beings! It is my sincere belief that no capybaras were harmed in the making of this photograph!
but it's not just any rodent...
it's the LARGEST RODENT IN THE WORLD!! which makes it less creepy, and more awesome.
if you ever find a capybara behind the restaurant you live near, just holler. i know where to give it a good home. i have a large farm house where it can run and play and there is even a stream for it to swim in. capybara nirvana!
You know what it really is?
A rodent of unusual size. Next time you're over by the Fire Swamp, you can pick one up.
