Good Samaritans leap to tracks at Andrew T station

Good to know that, if people see you unconscious on the tracks at Andrew Station, and the Red Line is approaching, they'll jump down to help.

BUT ... I find it troubling and scary that the guy refused medical attention afterwards. If he has an undiagnosed medical problem that caused him to fall, sooner or later it's going to get him again.

I wonder whether he refused it from EMTs, or from someone else.

I don't fully know the authority of EMTs, but I'd guess they would strongly urge (if not compel) someone who fell on the T tracks and got knocked out-- to get checked out.

Or perhaps he was fully lucid, no symptoms of concussion (other than the reported unconsciousness), and there was an obvious explanation, like his large bag unbalanced him.

Perhaps he didn't have medical insurance and didn't want to go to Hospital Bill Hell.
