Jonathan Berk captured a lightning bolt hitting Boston during tonight's storm.
Further south, Seth Gitell reported shortly before 9 p.m.:
Trees down along Furnace Brook in Quincy. Apparent flash flooding. Dangerous. I'm parked safely at gas station.

Bad in West Quincy
I'm one main street over from Furnace Brook. We also had what I would call a "mini flash flood" - enough to float some cars a little, but not much else. Also hail, lightning, and a brief power outage. No trees down here, but we don't really have any trees to go down anyway.
Now there seems to be something happening on route 93, behind us?? Our street is shut down by city and state police, but there's no more flooding here. 93 is at a standstill and it looks like they're trying to block access to it.
So if you're planning to use 93 right now, or drive through East Milton, West Quincy, or Braintree by the plaza - don't!
Sunset today was something, too
Where?
This looks to my naked, layman's eye to be hitting in or near the Fenway.
Can anyone verify? Or is this an illusion and it's really Waltham, or Framingham, or somewhere else miles away?
